My Latest Project

It has been too long since I took on a photo project. So I decided to do a series on mothers. I mean, what could be closer to my heart than being a mom? But instead of always focusing on the child I wanted to focus on the mother. I think as moms we lose some of our individuality, I mean I take nothing but pictures of my daughter all day long, which I love. But then I think "Did I go through four years of school and all that technical training to sit around and shoot candids of my kid all day....? Well anyway here are just three of the photographs I took of my dear friend Stacy, mother and also photographer. They turned out lovely I thought. And I wanted to share them. To me they are a little inspiration that being a mother really is a beautiful thing!

They're beautiful. I must say, I never figured you for naked baby pictures, but I love the softness of the colors.

Jill, this post inspired me. THANKS! I have felt just like you but now, back to creating art thanks to my dear friend. You look great. You are probably the most stylish mom, I've ever seen, but that was to be expected. And your little girl is so cute. Wow, Henkka would love her. I'm excited to start reading your blog!
