Look out it's Jackson! He reminds me more of a tornado rather than a
baby! He loves to pull everything down and out and move on to the
next target. All the time with a huge smile on his face! He smiles,
Joey cries and I try to stop him and he has pnemunia! Still he just
smiles! What a guy!

Good Night Sweetheart!
Joey has been having a hard time going to bed lately (again) except
this time, she tells us she is scared... Scared of the lights, of the
fan, of Jacksys crying, pretty much anything she can think of! So
tonight I tried something a little different, I found all 19 of her
dolls and stuffed animals! Now she can't be lonely or scared! It was
worth a try right?

Thursday
Bonjour Butterfly
Word on the street is that the Butterfly exhibit is free on Tuesday, so AFTER playgroup we loaded all five kids in the car and headed in to the metro area to the Natural History Museum! It is one of Joeys favorites and it is so funny because she went through the list of all the people who have gone with us there! (you know who you are!)

First off to the Elephant, that the giant squid, than the mammals, than the butterflys!

I of course forgot my real camera so these babies we shot on my iphone, while holding a 11 months old....little blurry, but still cute!

The kids were very uncertain of the butterflies and I am not actually sure they really saw any, but it was fun and cool to see for the adults!

Luckily for us the museum was pretty empty so we had free rein! The kids were great, and even though I am sure we looked like a quite a scene, it was fun and totally worth it!

Except! I did not get my whale cookie which was a BIG bummer but all the kids got a chomping T-rex, so all in all I would say it was worth the effort! Next time we are headed to the American right Sarah? :)

My Charlie And Lola
This last month has been filled with cold weather and sick kids. It takes a lot to keep us inside and home all day, and this sickness has done it. So of course with sick kids comes some movie watching! We have gotten to know Charlie and Lola pretty well around our house and it has been funny. But I think it needs to end and we need to see some warmer weather! :)

I'm not sure what snacks they were having but apparently they were GOOD! They were down there for quite a while, hanging out and "snuggin" I'm so glad they love each other! ;)

And Mr. Trouble himself! Oh this boy has stolen my heart and makes me laugh so hard!

I only hope they can be as good of friends as Charlie and Lola! Joey is turning in to Lola before my eyes, so maybe Jacks will pick up on some Charlie attitude! (he is very patient with his sister)
I guess spending a day in and watching shows isn't so bad every once in a while!

A Few Things I've Forgotten
Like how they love the toilet and toilet paper rolls. How huge a mess
they can make when they are supposed to be eating! How they love to
climb on anything and everything! Like the dishwasher, carseat, couch
and stairs! And mostly just how fun and cute they are at this age!

Jesus Wants Me For a Sunbeam!

It's official! Girlfriend is a Sunbeam! I tried and tried to get just one "normal" picture of her all ready to go and this is what I got! What a funny little thing! She is on a roll lately.. Sunbeams, gymnastics, oh and turning British right before my very eyes! She has been watching A Lot of Charlie and Lola! And it is funny! Here are a few of my favorite quotes, she has given me lately!
"Mum, where's dad? I haven't seen him in ages!"
"Would you like to play dress up? It is my favorite and my best."
"May I please have some pink milk?"
"Its 40 100 pounds!"
There are more and I just can't think of them now. It is really really funny! And a little frightening how influenced she is by television :)
Sunday
"With you, on Christ Mas"
"I want three books....oh! Wait, I need to go to bed!" I think that Christmas Eve will be the only night I ever hear Joey say those words! (girl hates to go to sleep) But not on Christmas Eve, she knew Santa was coming and she hit the hay! Kev and I decided to sleep in the couch that night, to keep watch.. Joey tends to wander at night and I really didn't want what happened on Easter to happen on Christmas too. (she woke up in the night and hunted all her eggs by herself and then came and got us)
But she didn't stir and was rewarded in the morning! Santa came and left lots of presents!

A kitchen, a cup for Jackson, a train a game.... He covered all his bases :)

Jaxy, the best gift I got this year! What a sweetie! Joey gave him a Mickey Mouse plate and sippy cup as her gift to him! Funny girl I was just glad she picked something for him, I heard a lot of I wants this month...

Eating stocking candy under the table... of course why not..

And as in all true thruths go, Jackson would have been happy with just a box, since that is what he played with most the day anyway, not the train I thought he would love so much!

There were some hits and some misses this year, but we had a great time! A little homesick, a little tired and a little broke.... It was a very Merry Christmas!!!

Winter Wonderland
So So So much snow!! We woke up Saturday and every thing had gone absolutely completely white! And freezing! In usual style we pulled out the snow clothes and the laundry basket and headed outside!

Thanks for the snow suit Eryn! It fits great! She loves it!

Unfortunately the snow was so powdery that sledding didn't really happen, the laundry basket may have had something to do with it too. But it took awhile to get it packed down enough to go down the hill.

This was Jackson's first time out in the snow, in his new coat (thanks grammy!) and of course socks on the hands and slippers on feet! He didn't make a peep once... really!

Even when we put him in the basket and sent him down the hill! He didn't smile, but didn't cry either... I'm still not sure if he liked it or hated it...
Needless to say we didn't stay out long, and the perfect remedy to the cold snow was getting snugged in mom and dads bed, drinking hot chocy and watching Frosty a Snowman!

Even Jack got some chocolate in his bottle after his milk! (Kevs idea:)

Red cheeks, full belly, snugged up. She was one happy girl! And really it was a great day for all of us! Thank goodness for Saturdays!

Say Yes To The Dress
While at the mall today Joey came running over and asked me if she
could please try on this white dress? This is the first time she ever
asked to try on anything, let alone a white dress! So I of course said
yes and we went and found the dressing room. She twirled and went and
found dad to show him how pretty her dress was! It was a small glimpse
in to the future when she tries on her real white dress. For now I
don't think I will be watching say yes to the dress while I make
dinner any more:)

My Night Time Drama....
Joey asleep on the stairs at 7 pm. wet hair, binky in and stark naked... the reason?

She had just gotten out of the tub and wanted to sleep in a pair of pajamas that were in one of her bins in the very top of her closet. A bin with her summer clothes for next year that I had stuck her summer jammies in, thinking she won't be needing them through the winter months. Apparently I was wrong. Somehow she saw the tiny part of green sticking out from the stack of clothes and decided those were the pj's she was going to wear that night. Joey, Joey, Joey..... She threw a monster tantrum when I couldn't reach them and told her she would have to do with out them tonight and wait until dad came home to get them down. After a few minutes of screaming, I left the room and told her to figure it out on her own.... I guess this is what she figured out, her asleep on the stairs, "freezin!" her words, not mine.

Friday
All Hallows Eve
Or I mean crazy running around, super sugar high, double fisting the candy bags and pretty much an all around party!
We started with a fun Joy School party! Where we had a parade and sang a few Halloween songs.... Okay, where I sang a few Halloween songs :)
Cinderella/Sydney, Tinker Bell/Joey, BuzzLightYear/Sam, Cowboy/Trey
Than it was off to the Ward Trunk or Treat! Which was a blast! Joey had so much fun running around with friends I didn't even see her most the night! (heaven help me when she is a teenager)

And Jackson got to eat a chocolate cupcake! I was only saw the aftermath. I wasn't there to put a stop it :)
All our primary kids! I couldn't believe we got them all rounded up for the pic! Our primary is huge! And really fun!

Trick or Treat!!
Tink and Peter! Oh so cute!

Joey ready to go! She let me curl her hair and everything! I thought she looked to cute! Just like Tink! Attitude and all!!

The whole lot! Super heros and super mom, an imagination mover and the cast of Peter Pan, Tink, Peter, Wendy, and Hook!

Jackson enjoying his first ever Trick or Treat! He enjoyed the ride but it got pretty cold at the end, and well he can't eat any candy so he didn't really get any reward, poor guy!

Joey did however collect candy for him anyway. Politely telling them, "this is for my baby brother." (good call Kev!)

Joey Loved Trick or treating this year! She didn't miss a house and her lines were very well memorized by the end. "Trick or Treat, Trick or Treat! Thank you! Happy Halloween!!" Than off to the next! I loved it!

By the end we were all pretty well done. Soaked from the rain, cold, and Lucky we brought lights to lead the way home! Tinks wings lit up to lead us home!

Happy Halloween! Next year Joey will absolutely be Snow White! But the one with the cape! (I better start sewing now!)
